Myrskylän Savustamo Oy was established in 1987. Since then it has risen in the group of five biggest fish smokeries in Finland. The most of the customers are Finnish but especially export to Russia is growing rapidly.
The industrial plant of Myrskylän Savustamo Oy meets all EU standards concerning production methods and hygienic level.
Our experts have developed the own wood mixture for smoking process which with modern technology make sure that products have excellent quality. The products do not contain any other additives than salt.
Cold or hot smoked salmon trout is packed in vacuum packages and customers can choose if they want a whole fillet or a piece of fillet. Myrskylän Savustamo Oy guarantees for vacuum packed fish 21 days of presentation. Products are prepared of first class, superior quality seabred salmon trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss).
Besides smoked fish Myrskylän Savustamo Oy sells fresh and frozen fish products. Fresh salmon trout is one of the most important export products.

Among others we can present the following proofs of our success:
– In 1990 the cold smoked salmon trout fillet was selected as a gourmet product by Oy Stockmann Ab which is the biggest and the most famous delicatessen chain in Finland
– In 1992 Myrskylän Savustamo Oy won the Young Company - competition which was arranged by Finnish trade and industrial ministry
– In 1995 SAFU’s products received two Medailles d`Honneur at the international Gastronomic fair in Dijon, France
